Sunday’s meeting at Launceston saw the highly anticipated return of racing in the apple isle and it was the Motree Thoroughbreds owned Vallabar first back into the winner’s circle with a dominant win.

Given a peach of a ride  camped just off the speed from leading rider David Pires the 4yo son of Widden Valley let down with the fastest 600m and 800m splits of the program suggesting the win will not be his last.

We are hopeful he can follow in the footsteps of another Motree owned/ Brunton trained son of Widden Valley in the talented Uber Ed.
